It depends on what you get from WoW, really. If you like your PVE content with a raid progression endgame, then it might not be your thing. The Tome of Knowledge and Public Quests add much to PVE though, offering lots of surprises to discover.
If you prefer PVP, and want it with a bit more depth and purpose than "Lose quick so we get our mark", then definitely give Warhammer a try. It's possible to contribute to PVP and advance meaningfully from Level 1 right through to the City Siege endgame. They're very different games though, despite the similarities.
