So my copy of EON #12 arrived today. It's actually the first copy of the magazine that I've ever read... I think I'll be spending some money on a few back issues. I'm certainly impressed, it's a damn good mag.
The article on this here "Avatars United" business was on page 12. One quick bit of checking-out and a short registration later, and here I am. I have no idea how much I'll wind up using this thing, especially seeing as there aren't that many of the people I'd really like to "network" with on here yet. I probably won't be doing much blogging - I've never really bothered before. Who knows, though, this could be the exception that proves the rule.
So, this here blog entry is just a "hello". I do have one entry already lined up, concerning the "Empyrean Age" novel, but that's going to have to wait until I get it back. One big question that's been shooting around recently is "how accessible is it to people who don't play EVE?"
To answer that question, I have lent the book to somebody who doesn't play EVE, and I'm just waiting on them to finish it.
Watch this space.

Same here, I got Eon #12 yesterday, read about this community and signed up ^_^
So thanks to Zapatero for hooking me up, seems interesting so far. Also, will be interesting to hear what your "EVE outsiders" think about the novel, I'm just about to pick up my copy from the post office :) |
