Avatars United (AU) is a community for your virtual avatars. Register your avatar, upload your profile picture, write your biography and share some of your exploits in virtual worlds through pictures, videos and blogs.
With your profile completed, begin searching for your friends of today and of yesterday! Unite with those you find, check out what they have been up to and make sure to add the ones you don’t find to the Wanted list. That way you will know as they register! If you’re a group/guild/corporation leader make sure to register it too and you’ll be able to use all of AU’s tools to help you organize your events, share and discuss your exploits.

Avatars United a community of gamers by gamers
Avatars United is a project initiated in 2007 by a group of three real-life friends with friendships dating back to the early 1980s. AU is now comprised of a larger team but has nonetheless added members to its team through the inclusion of additional real-life friends and indeed fellow gamers.
With gaming track records on C64, Amiga, Atari, MUDs & PC platforms, all of the team members built solid gaming experiences prior to the MMOG era. Contrary to commonly held beliefs we think gaming is a social phenomenon and are hoping that AU will prove us right.

The Avatars United philosophy
Avatars United (AU) is a community website bringing virtual characters from all online worlds together. The project is built in recognition of the fact that strong bonds and close friendships actually can be tied within virtual spaces.
AU has furthermore gone one step further in recognizing virtual personas as personas in their own right by building a community for avatars only. Anyone involved in any type of virtual world is familiar with addressing people using their avatar names even after having gotten to know them.
With tools to communicate with, find and track old virtual friends and share experiences from virtual realms AU wishes to stand out as a community highlighting the social aspect of life within virtual worlds.
