No its not really about BACON but its sorta related i was at work chatting on MSN with a few people from eve and real life i know that play eve and i came upon a idea. You have the PvPers complaining about how the logserver is breaking the game allowing to people to play the came without acyually playing it. Well i thought it would be a interesting idea if someone with a good understanding of prgramming could make me a program that reads my logserver file for when i do a argo scan. Now some of you might be wondering why does he want a program to red that? others might get what im getting at here.
The idea i had was for the program to read the cargo scan information from the scan resultes and input it into say a spreadsheet type of calculatorthingy(i know high tech terms here). each item would have a set value and the higher end officer and faction gear can be user controled allowing them to adjust prices. Now the program quickly adds up the value of the cargo in the ship you just scanned and outputs it. I know when im out ganking sometimes its a little tough deciding the value of a scan especially long ones and even more so wen theres alot of odd peices in ther(like say 1000 nexus chips >_<). it would seriously make my ganking way more efficient and easier on me. I hope i offened the carebears, hey you guys should be able to have it easy all to yoursleves.
Seriously someone contact me about this ill work with them and maybe get something worked out ISk compensation maybe.
